While the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">president cited &#038;ldquo<\/a>;the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/no-god-wasnt-making-a-political-statement-by-sparing-trump\/\" title=\"No, God Wasn&#039;t Making A Political Statement By Sparing Trump\">climate crisis&#038;rdquo<\/a>; in his decision, McCarthy argued that the U.S. could fix climate change by utilizing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/artificial-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">artificial intelligence<\/a> and Biden is doing &ldquo;the opposite on his way out.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You know what it is? As such, he called for the U.S. to &ldquo;expand our grid&rdquo; on energy to catch up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/china\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">China<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy also addressed Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Kamala Harris&rsquo;s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3277568\/kamala-harris-certifies-electoral-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">certification of the 2024 election<\/a> on Monday, commending her for being &ldquo;professional&rdquo; about it. Harris lost the election to President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a>, failing to take the Electoral College and the popular vote.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ahead of Trump&rsquo;s inauguration on Jan. 20, <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/113782593946571268\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the president-elect harshly condemned Biden&rsquo;s drilling ban on social media<\/a>, accusing him of trying to make the transfer of power as difficult as possible. Trump has previewed his administration&rsquo;s intention to focus on U.S. energy over the next few years, warning Monday that Biden&rsquo;s ban would be quickly &ldquo;terminated.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy\/3278072\/dan-sullivan-biden-drilling-ban-shut-down-us-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Sen.
