Cryer supported Vice President Kamala Harris. <\/p>\n<p>According to Cryer, he has transgender friends who fear for their lives as a result of President-elect Donald Trump winning what Cryer called the &ldquo;outrage cycle.&rdquo; Maher responded by saying, &ldquo;The Democrats shouldn&rsquo;t have blown it.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You can blame them all you want. I believe, again, there was a worldwide reaction to the inflation bump after COVID,&rdquo; Cryer said. &ldquo;As I said, Americans hate inflation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You keep telling yourself that, and you&rsquo;ll lose the next one, too,&rdquo; Maher said.<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Exq4OcyA_MU?si=AQ1Kmx8S8ST5abHt\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>    <\/p>\n<p>Maher admitted that he also voted for Harris and is &ldquo;generally supportive&rdquo; of the Democratic Party, just like the<em> Two and a Half Men<\/em> star.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Harris&rsquo;s long-standing popular vote record, she lost the 2024 presidential election popular vote and garnered fewer votes in 45&nbsp;states&nbsp;and Washington, D.C., than her predecessor, President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a result of Trump winning the 2024 election, Maher has&nbsp;teased quitting his HBO show <em>Real Talk<\/em> instead of covering the president&rsquo;s antics. On a previous episode of his podcast, Maher said he felt like &ldquo;s***ing my pants&rdquo; ahead of Trump taking office.<\/p>\n<p>Maher&nbsp;could shift to purely podcasting, as many comedians have done before him. Last year,&nbsp;Maher&nbsp;launched the Club Random Studios podcast network in collaboration with Hollywood producers Chris Case and Chuck LaBella.
