It&rsquo;s that ridiculous.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Catholic Lawyer &#127483;&#127462; (@JeffreyHelsdon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JeffreyHelsdon\/status\/1874636941179904328?\">January 2, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If someone told me this happened and I hadn&rsquo;t seen it, I would have thought they were lying,&rdquo; one <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">bewildered social media user posted<\/a> under King&rsquo;s video. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s that ridiculous.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>People in attendance agreed: &ldquo;He&rsquo;s the quarterback, let him up!&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Other, more conspiratorial, social media users opined that everything, from Howard&rsquo;s apparent <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/clairelarson54\/status\/1874833046165471258\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christian faith<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BostonByBirth\/status\/1874812952479703079\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">color of his skin<\/a>, played a role in the awkward moment.<\/p>\n<p>Howard himself joked in the video that there was apparently a weight limit on the podium, hence the awkward moment.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They&rsquo;re blocking me,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/us\/ncaa-football\/news\/ohio-state-qb-will-howard-blocked-rose-bowl-stage-hilarious-postgame-snub\/a237c6157b43826e7dcba415\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sporting News<\/a>, Howard wasn&rsquo;t blocked for long, as he did eventually make it onto the stage.
