He specifically thanked Musk for his help during a press conference about the explosion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I have to thank Elon Musk, specifically,&rdquo; McMahill said. &ldquo;He gave us quite a bit of additional information in regards to how the vehicle was locked after it exploded, due to the nature of the force from the explosion, as well as being able to capture all the video from the Tesla&rsquo;s charging stations.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An investigation into the blast revealed that the explosion was the result of a complex detonation system used by the person who designed the attack, according to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.8newsnow.com\/news\/local-news\/fire-crews-respond-to-vehicle-fire-at-trump-intl-hotel-near-las-vegas-strip\/?utm_source=t.co&amp;utm_campaign=socialflow&amp;utm_medium=referral\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reports<\/a>.
