But it appeared in the form of a holder proposal.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>In other words, the board of directors did not merely defend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/another-one-bites-dust-car-giant-ditches-dei-robby-starbuck-notches-another-win-normalcy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DEI<\/a> policies. Its members unanimously recommended that holders vote against even a simple proposal for honestly investigating the policies&rsquo; costs.<\/p>\n<p>With totalitarian haughtiness, the board insisted that an investigation of that kind &ldquo;would not <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">provide meaningful additional information<\/a> to our holders.&rdquo; Never mind that the holders could decide that for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Costco&rsquo;s board filled its recommendation with the usual nauseating paeans to identity-based discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We welcome members from all walks of life and backgrounds. As our membership diversifies, we believe that serving it with a diverse group of employees enhances satisfaction. Among other things, a diverse group of employees helps bring originality and creativity to our merchandise offerings, promoting the &lsquo;treasure hunt,&rsquo; that our customers value,&rdquo; the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Well done, Costco. Using &ldquo;diverse&rdquo; or &ldquo;diversifies&rdquo; three times in three sentences will certainly earn you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/google-goes-fully-woke-new-christmas-ad-sparking-calls-boycott\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">woke<\/a> credits.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;That group also helps to provide insights into the tastes and preferences of our members. And we believe (and member feedback shows) that many of our members like to see themselves reflected in the people in our warehouses with whom they interact,&rdquo; the statement continued.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, according to Costco, people who  the same skin color also  the same &ldquo;tastes and preferences.&rdquo; Furthermore, customers really like it when Costco employees have the same skin color they do.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scott-morefield-the-leftist-persecution-of-a-bodega-worker-who-dared-to-fight-back\/\" title=\"Scott Morefield: The Leftist Persecution of a Bodega Worker Who Dared to Fight Back\">clear-thinking people<\/a> saw these arguments as racist when they encountered them in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/university-lecturer-reportedly-investigation-reading-mlk-letter-aloud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Birmingham<\/a>, Alabama, in the early 1960s. And they see them that way today.<\/p>\n<p>In short, Americans have grown tired of watching powerful people sort them into groups based on irrelevant physical characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, a number of X users called for Costco to receive the &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/anheuser-buschs-bud-light-nightmare-shows-no-signs-reversing-new-earnings-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bud Light<\/a>&rdquo; treatment.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Time to cancel your Costco membership. DEI policies are divisive. Time to prioritize merit, not identity,&rdquo; one user wrote.<\/p>\n<p>A GIF of President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/go-woke-go-broke-spectacular-superhero-failure-highlights-exactly-trump-won\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> declaring &ldquo;no more&rdquo; accompanied the post.
