Unlike the Peruvian police, Sky News showed the suspects&rsquo; faces, including a man and two women.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FSkyNewsAustralia%2Fvideos%2F940678690933520%2F&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=560&amp;t=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"429\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, this particular police unit has a reputation for dressing its officers in holiday-themed costumes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/av\/world-latin-america-68291661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here<\/a>, for instance, is a BBC report showing an officer from the same unit conducting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/read-trumps-valentines-day-letter-melania-never-left-side\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valentine&rsquo;s Day<\/a> raid while dressed as a teddy bear and holding a heart-shaped balloon.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, those with experience in law enforcement can speak to any practical advantages such costumes might offer. One guesses that concealment of that kind works to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oakland-police-union-calls-on-mayor-sheng-thao-to-resign-in-scathing-letter-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Oakland police union calls on Mayor Sheng Thao to resign in scathing letter - Washington Examiner\">police officers&#038;rsquo<\/a>; advantage. The costumes could also have quite a disarming effect on suspects.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Peruvian police might have simply decided to troll the bad guys. If so, more power to them. Either way, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/time-grieving-steve-doocy-asked-god-sign-got-one-soon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">God<\/a> bless them.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, those of us who grew up watching &ldquo;How the Grinch Stole Christmas&rdquo; each holiday season cannot help but remember some relevant moments from the 1966 classic.<\/p>\n<p>First, in his quest to eradicate Christmas, the Grinch stole a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/original-christmas-tree-used-stamp-pagan-worship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christmas tree<\/a> from little Cindy Lou Who&rsquo;s family.<\/p>\n<p>When the little girl awoke in the middle of the heist, she saw the Grinch dressed as Santa Claus and asked why he had stuffed the tree up the chimney.<\/p>\n<p>The Grinch then lied and told the little girl that the tree had a defect, so he would take it to his shop, repair it and then return it to the family.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the Grinch relied on deceit.
