Liman in Manhattan issued an order Friday in which he was dismissive of what he described as attempts by Giuliani and his lawyer to dodge providing information to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dnc-seeks-ruling-on-undated-and-misdated-pennsylvania-mail-in-ballots-by-election-day-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"DNC seeks ruling on undated and misdated Pennsylvania mail-in ballots by Election Day - Washington Examiner\">election workers&#038;rsquo<\/a>; lawyers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3221925\/how-republicans-took-back-senate-2022-setback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>HOW REPUBLICANS TOOK BACK THE SENATE AFTER STINGING 2022 SETBACK<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And he said the litigants should be ready at the contempt hearing to explain why he should not grant a request by lawyers for the two election workers that he make adverse inferences from evidence in the case that would put Giuliani&rsquo;s Palm Beach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Florida<\/a>, condominium in danger of being surrendered to satisfy the defamation award.<\/p>\n<p>The judge also said he may rule on the contempt request at the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani has maintained that the Palm Beach property is his personal residence now and should be shielded from the judgment. He faces a Jan. 16 trial before Liman over the disposition of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/rudy-giuliani-bankruptcy-georgia-a63f6da1287e244d3e83be4a2b7c6769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">his Florida residence<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/giuliani-defamation-georgia-election-workers-world-series-5654016004cfc80ba9931c35a6343529\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">World Series rings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3220326\/five-democrats-prime-position-face-party-2028\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>FIVE DEMOCRATS IN PRIME POSITION TO BE FACE OF THE PARTY IN 2028<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lawyers for the election workers filed the contempt request after saying Giuliani had failed to turn over a lease to his Manhattan apartment, a Mercedes, various watches and jewelry, a signed Joe DiMaggio shirt and other baseball momentos. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/giuliani-defamation-georgia-election-workers-799b168fe2fa52a3b59aca2034a816f1\">judge ordered<\/a>&nbsp;Giuliani to turn over the items in October.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani&rsquo;s lawyers have predicted that Giuliani will eventually win custody of the items on appeal.
