York, the chief political correspondent for the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>, assessed that this situation stems from how Democrats lost the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">White House<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/senate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Senate<\/a> last month while also failing to retake the House of Representatives.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3270254\/uncommitted-voters-blame-harris-choosing-liz-cheney-turn-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">&lsquo;UNCOMMITTED&rsquo; VOTERS BLAME HARRIS &lsquo;CHOOSING PATH OF LIZ CHENEY&rsquo; FOR THEIR TURN TO TRUMP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And even at this moment, of course, President Biden seems to be more out of it than he was even in the past, so they have no one to lead,&rdquo; York argued on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>America Reports<\/em>. &ldquo;The only bright spot they&rsquo;ve had in the last week or two has been that Republicans in the House have so much trouble getting their act together, and they hope &mdash; the Democrats hope that that will help them trip up the Republican Party in the coming year. He added that the party needs to have a proper debate over where the party went wrong in 2024, in which some could argue the party pushed its policies too far while others could argue the massive loss was due to a messaging problem.<\/p>\n<p>York&rsquo;s assessment comes after billionaire Bill Ackman, who endorsed Trump shortly after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-cant-deny-responsibility-for-our-so-so-divided-nation\/\" title=\"Biden Can\u2019t Deny Responsibility For Our \u2018So, So Divided\u2019 Nation\">president-elect&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s first assassination attempt, argued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3200235\/bill-ackman-cnbc-trump-dictators-in-check\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the best-case scenario for the Democratic Party in the 2024 election cycle would be &ldquo;a massive loss,&rdquo;<\/a> as this would force the party and its leadership to undergo a &ldquo;reboot.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the Democratic National Committee&rsquo;s election for its new chair, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3270257\/marianne-williamson-launches-bid-become-dnc-chair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">2024 Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson has launched her bid for the role<\/a>, though York argued she would ultimately not win this election.
