Pat Fallon (R-TX) argued the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/biden-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Biden administration<\/a> is to blame for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Iran&rsquo;s<\/a> uptick in wealth over the last few years, raising concerns over the country&rsquo;s increased <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pm-netanyahu-israel-will-not-allow-iran-to-obtain-a-nuclear-weapon\/\" title=\"PM Netanyahu: Israel will not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon\">nuclear program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Michael Oren, a former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Israeli<\/a> ambassador to the United States from 2009 through 2013, cautioned earlier this week that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/iran-nuclear-weapon-within-days-michael-oren-israel-2005351\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Iran could have a nuclear weapon operational<\/a> before President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> is inaugurated next month, stating there is &ldquo;enough time&rdquo; for this to happen before Trump returns to power. Amid these concerns, Fallon assessed that the Biden administration &ldquo;enabled&rdquo; Iran to make much more money compared to when Trump was president.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;When you look at President Trump enforcing the international sanctions on Iran, they were only able to sell about, just under $8 billion worth of exported Iranian oil,&rdquo; Fallon explained on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>America Reports<\/em>. &ldquo;But under Joe Biden, when they didn&rsquo;t enforce those sanctions, they were making $43 billion and you can sell a lot of discord, mayhem, and mischief with the $35 billion, and of course, also advance your nuclear program.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 100%; max-width: 640px; max-height: 360px; min-width: 320px; min-height: 180px; overflow: hidden;\">\n<div style=\"position: relative; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/share.grabien.com\/share.php?id=2737070&amp;userid=11311&amp;loginid=9421&amp;playercolor=%23000000&amp;playersize=auto&amp;code=eb08cabed4cda78aa0c5ed52618a1d80\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0px;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Fallon went on to state that Iran is &ldquo;the largest state-sponsor of terror&rdquo; and is a country focused on imposing its form of governance on other nations. He added that beyond making the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/middle-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Middle East<\/a> unstable, Iran is also &ldquo;directly responsible&rdquo; for the deaths of thousands of U.S. soldiers in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/afghanistan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Afghanistan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/iraq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Iraq<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The congressman also stated how a majority of Iranians want a different form of government over the theocracy it currently has. However, this is unable to happen due to the country&rsquo;s residents being &ldquo;ruled by the barrel of a gun.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following Trump&rsquo;s victory in the 2024 election, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3224314\/trump-maximum-pressure-campaign-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-kelly-same-people-criticizing-trump-peddled-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" title=\"Mike Kelly: Same People Criticizing Trump Peddled Russia Collusion Hoax\">president-elect<\/a> is expected to resume his &ldquo;maximum pressure&rdquo; campaign against Iran<\/a>, fulfilling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3162516\/burgum-biden-administration-not-putting-maximum-pressure-on-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">a call several Republicans have made in recent months<\/a>.
