I was hit. And I was cut off from the outside world,&rdquo; Hilton said. &ldquo;My parents had no idea. Sens. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Tina Smith (D-MN) pointed out in June that the federal government had yet to make the designation formal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;These majestic creatures have long been viewed as the official bird of this country and it is past time we made it official without costing taxpayers a single cent,&rdquo; Lummis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mullin.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/mullin-lummis-klobuchar-smith-introduce-bipartisan-legislation-to-make-the-bald-eagle-the-national-bird\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">said<\/a> as she joined her colleagues in introducing the legislation.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The No Corruption Act<\/h2>\n<p>Another bill Biden signed will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3261578\/house-votes-felon-lawmakers-taxpayer-funded-pensions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">strip lawmakers of their taxpayer-funded pensions<\/a> if convicted of using their office to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">commit corruption-related offenses<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Congress passed the bipartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/senate-bill\/932\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">No Corruption Act<\/a> in the wake of ex-Sen. Bob Menendez&lsquo;s (D-NJ) bribery scandal. Lucy McBath (D-GA) and Jeff Duncan (R-SC) and Sens.
