to users.<\/p>\n<p>The consumer product advisory from <a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/health-canada-warns-balloon-blowing-kits-available-amazonca-pose-chemical-hazard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Health Canada<\/a>, published on Dec. 13, said the balloon blowing kits allow children to &ldquo;form balloons or bubbles by slowly squeezing out a ball of the mixture from the tube and sticking it on the end of the straw.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>They can then blow through the straw and create a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-big-voter-fraud-information-coming-out-concerning-georgia\/\" title=\"President Trump: Big Voter Fraud Information Coming Out Concerning Georgia\">bubble<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But a safety <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fda-issues-recall-walmart-amazon-freeze-dried-blueberries-high-levels-lead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">concern<\/a> arises since &ldquo;blowing the balloons exposes a child to inhaling the vapours&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/euthanasia-now-responsible-1-20-deaths-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Health Canada<\/a> added.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Prolonged exposure can lead to more serious symptoms, including muscular twitching, unconsciousness, and coma,&rdquo; the agency cautioned.<\/p>\n<p>Health Canada listed three balloon products that could be found on Amazon in the country and said the alert impacts those items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>15 pieces Bubble Ball Toy, Burst-Free Plastic Balloon, Colorful Magic Bubble Glue, Perfect Boys and Girls Gift (ASIN B0CXSTMWMQ)<\/li>\n<li>2024 New Safe Magic Bubble Glue Toy Blowing Colorful Bubble Ball Plastic Space Balloon Fashion Accessories (ASIN B0C6THCKSB)<\/li>\n<li>Safe Magic Bubble Glue Toy Blowing Colorful Bubble Ball Plastic Space Balloon (ASIN B0C54V2QQG)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ASIN stands for &ldquo;Amazon Standard Identification Number,&rdquo; which Amazon uses to <a href=\"https:\/\/sell.amazon.com\/blog\/how-to-create-a-new-asin-amazon#:~:text=What%20is%20an%20Amazon%20ASIN,they%20need%20to%20re%2Dorder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">label<\/a> products for purposes such as tracking.<\/p>\n<p>The agency advised consumers who have the products to &ldquo;immediately stop using them.&rdquo; Users should also &ldquo;dispose of the items according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines,&rdquo; per the alert.<\/p>\n<p>The safety warning comes after a reported 127 units of the impacted products were sold between November 2023 and November 2024 across Canada, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.com\/news\/health-canada-warns-balloon-blowing-kits-sold-on-amazon-could-cause-hallucinations-and-other-adverse\/article_f905a8ae-15d7-59ec-83f8-b294d5d76d3c.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toronto.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But no injuries from the balloons have been reported to Health Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone impacted by the products &ldquo;or any other consumer product or cosmetic&rdquo; were invited to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/consumer-product-safety\/advisories-warnings-recalls\/report-incident-involving-consumer-product.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fill out<\/a> a Health Canada consumer product incident report form.<\/p>\n<p>Health authorities in both Canada and the United States have previously issued warnings about other products sold on Amazon and similar online marketplaces.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds sold by importer CVB Inc. were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-thousands-beds-sold-amazon-walmart-recalled-dangerous-failures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recalled<\/a> in September across the U.S. and Canada, for instance, since they can collapse and present fall and injury risks.<\/p>\n<p>The beds can sag, break, or collapse during use, according to notices from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.
