Yellen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/12\/22\/climate\/trump-miran-council-of-economic-advisers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">vehemently denied<\/a> the accusation.<\/p>\n<p>The current chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers is Jared Bernstein, a longtime adviser to President Joe Biden.
