She was reportedly suspended amid an internal affairs probe into her overtime hours to the tune of roughly $204,000.<\/p>\n<p>Epps alleges that Maddrey&rsquo;s sexual demands did not start until June 2023 and described in her interview with the <em>New York Post<\/em> in detail the first time her <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">superior officer assaulted<\/a> her on the 13th floor of One Police Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>NYPD did not immediately respond to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>&rsquo;s request for comment on the developments, but a spokesperson confirmed for the <em>New York Post <\/em>that current Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch accepted Maddrey&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-democratic-lieutenant-governor-resigns-after-arrest\/\" title=\"New York Democratic Lieutenant Governor Resigns After Arrest\">resignation effective immediately<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The NYPD takes all allegations of sexual misconduct seriously, and will thoroughly investigate this matter,&rdquo; said the NYPD spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>Tisch was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ftc-expands-its-power-to-penalize-powerful-companies\/\" title=\"FTC Expands Its Power to Penalize Powerful Companies\">appointed commissioner<\/a> last month, making her the fourth person to take up the job in the last three years. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maddrey, a friend of New York City Mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Eric-Adams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Eric Adams<\/a>, was previously accused of sexual misconduct in 2016 by former Police Officer Tabitha Foster.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Foster claimed in an unsuccessful civil lawsuit that Maddrey took advantage of her by exchanging professional benefits for sexual favors.
