The Federal Aviation Governance (FAA)\u2063 has \u200bprohibited drone operations\u2062 in\u200d areas \u200bincluding Jersey \u2063City, \u200cElizabeth, and \u200cCamden, among others,\u2064 until\u2063 January 17, 2025. This \u200ddecision comes after the FBI received over 5,000 reports of \u200ddrones flying\u2062 over \u2062military\u200b and critical\u200c infrastructure, raising alarms about potential security threats.<\/p>\n<p>Officials stated\u2063 that unauthorized drone flights could lead to\u200c severe repercussions, including \u200bthe use of \u200d&#8221;deadly\u2063 force&#8221; if deemed a\u2062 threat. \u200dLaw enforcement \u200bmay detain\u2062 drone pilots operating \u2062in restricted\u2064 regions, reinforcing the seriousness\u200c of the regulations. according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northjersey.com\/story\/news\/2024\/12\/19\/nj-drone-operations-banned-in-several-towns-by-faa\/77082693007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NorthJersey.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Drones that are launched in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/time-worry-house-foreign-affairs-chair-confirms-worst-fears-nj-drones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defiance<\/a> of the order could face &ldquo;deadly force&rdquo; if officials believe they are a security threat.<\/p>\n<p>Pilots flying drones in the banned areas can be detained by law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>A Department of Homeland Security representative said the flight restrictions were issued &ldquo;out of an abundance of caution,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/drone-updates-faa-temporarily-bans-drone-operations-parts\/story?id=116936091\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We continue to assess there is no public safety threat relating to the reported drone sightings,&rdquo; the representative said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In coordination with the FAA and our critical infrastructure partners who requested temporary flight restrictions over their facilities, out of an abundance of caution, the FAA has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-live-donald-trump-set-to-arrive-thursday-at-fulton-county-jail-to-turn-himself-in-for-arrest\/\" title=\"LIVE: Donald Trump to arrive at Fulton County Jail for self-arrest.\">issued temporary flight restrictions<\/a> over some critical infrastructure facilities in New Jersey,&rdquo; the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>Drone sighting reports began in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-jersey-residents-disturbed-mysterious-objects-appearing-sky-night-night\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Jersey<\/a> last month and have spread through neighboring states.<\/p>\n<p>A resident in North Carolina has also said drones are visible in the sky, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbtv.com\/2024\/12\/19\/mysterious-drone-sightings-have-reportedly-reached-charlotte-what-we-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WBTV-TV.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It was very obvious they were not aircraft,&rdquo;
