This would be very consistent with their policy over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cbs-slammed-for-smearing-ron-desantis-on-60-minutes-one-of-the-more-blatant-political-hatchet-jobs\/\" title=\"CBS Slammed For Smearing Ron DeSantis On \u201860 Minutes\u2019: \u2018One Of The More Blatant Political Hatchet Jobs\u2019\">past couple years<\/a>,&rdquo; the congressman added.<\/p>\n<p>Admittedly, McCaul&rsquo;s guess regarding the drones&rsquo; origin sounded as plausible as any yet advanced.<\/p>\n<p>Others, for instance, have speculated that the drones <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/congressman-reveals-iranian-mothership-intruding-us-says-trump-danger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">originated in Iran<\/a>, or that friendly actors have employed them in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joe-rogan-genuinely-concerned-new-jersey-drone-situation-seeing-experts-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">frantic search<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-jersey-mayor-suggests-drone-mystery-may-connected-missing-radioactive-material\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">missing radioactive materials<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing we know for certain is that President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-odd-comments-drone-mystery-raise-questions-answers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden&rsquo;s<\/a> administration has shed no light on the mystery.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-speaks-mystery-drones-government-knows-happening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> has insisted that the federal government knows far more than it has revealed to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, until we learn the truth, McCaul&rsquo;s assertion requires careful consideration.<\/p>\n<p>On one hand, no one disputes that the Chinese people have suffered under an evil Communist regime since 1949. For sheer totalitarian madness, Communist dictator Mao Zedong&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bill-maher-compares-woke-mob-enforcers-maos-cultural-revolution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cultural Revolution<\/a> of the 1960s and early 1970s has few modern parallels.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Communist regimes, by their very nature, operate according to globalist principles. In the old Soviet Union, the Communist International organization, or Comintern, openly advocated and tried to effect worldwide revolution.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, one might reasonably deduce hostile intent from various Chinese activities inside the United States. These range from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chinese-spy-balloon-got-big-helping-hand-us-company-transiting-america-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spy balloons<\/a> to the purchase of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/china-buying-land-near-strategic-us-military-bases-19-american-locations-potentially-compromised\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American land<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Chinese civilization has existed in one form or another for thousands of years. In all that time, the Chinese people have shown almost no aggression beyond their own borders, let alone their region.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, when they have engaged with Western powers, the Chinese traditionally have opted for subtlety. During the Korean War, for instance, as the U.S. Eighth Army advanced toward the Yalu River &mdash; the border between North Korea and China &mdash; Chinese troops quietly slipped in behind the Americans and launched a surprise attack, triggering one of the worst defeats and the longest retreat in U.S. military history.<\/p>\n<p>Conspicuous drones across New Jersey and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/concerning-drone-sightings-spread-new-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">elsewhere<\/a> hardly qualify as subtle.<\/p>\n<p>In sum, McCaul might have it right. China might indeed have the means and motive to carry out a drone operation on this scale.<\/p>\n<p>The problem, however, is that the U.S. government has concealed everything and d nothing.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Trump&rsquo;s victory in the 2024 election stemmed at least in part from Americans&rsquo; mounting distrust of their government. That distrust dates at least to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/elon-musk-expose-jfk-assassin-within-hours-trump-taking-office-1-brilliant-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1963<\/a>. And the federal government&rsquo;s culture of secrecy &mdash; a culture hostile to the Constitution and anathema to self-government &mdash; dates at least to the early years of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/us-right-revoke-oppenheimers-security-clearance-sides\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cold War<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All of that must change.
