In my opinion, they&rsquo;re looking for something. What might they be looking for? Maybe that&rsquo;s radioactive material,&rdquo; Melham said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5ny.com\/news\/nj-missing-radioactive-material-amid-drones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WNYW-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has said that on Dec. 3, radioactive material was reported as missing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That&rsquo;s about two weeks after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-jersey-residents-disturbed-mysterious-objects-appearing-sky-night-night\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first drone sightings<\/a> over parts of New Jersey. The container was damaged, and it was empty,&rdquo; Melham said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;Information has not been forthcoming, and it&rsquo;s this lack of transparency&hellip;that&rsquo;s doing nothing but fueling conspiracy theories online,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NRC said a shipment was lost in Newfield, New Jersey, on December 3, 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\" data-v-7af50048=\"\">&ldquo;The shipping container arrived at its destination damaged and empty. The licensee has filed a claim with the shipper. If the source is not located within 30 days, the licensee will follow up with a full written report to include root cause(s) and corrective actions,&rdquo; the NRC said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">requested advanced detection systems<\/a> to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-speaks-mystery-drones-government-knows-happening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> patrol the skies<\/a> over New York and New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schumer wants the Department of Homeland Security to provide the Robin Radar Systems, which with 360-degree detection might better pick up drones according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/new-jersey-drone-sightings-live-updates-2002221\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New York Gov.
