Timmerman was\u200c later found and \u2062freed\u2062 following the recent overthrow of former syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Timmerman told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/travis-timmerman-syria-american-man-found-freed-prison-assad-ouster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News<\/a>. &ldquo;I thought the guards were still there, so I thought the warfare could have been more active than it ended up being &hellip;
