In actuality, the website is closely connected to the national political landscape &mdash; receiving its funding from a group managed by Arabella Advisors, a consulting firm in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/washington-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Washington, D.C.<\/a>, overseeing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/from-the-archives-1939-both-sides-must-deescalate-the-german-polish-conflict\/\" title=\"FROM THE ARCHIVES (1939): Both Sides Must Deescalate the German-Polish Conflict\">shadowy network<\/a> of nonprofit groups shaping the Democratic Party&rsquo;s agenda.<\/p>\n<p>All of <em>Hammer &amp; Hope&rsquo;s<\/em> funding in fiscal 2023, $150,000, came from the New Venture Fund, a nonprofit group in the Arabella umbrella that doles out hundreds of millions of dollars each year for left-leaning causes, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/newventurefund.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2023-New-Venture-Fund-Form-990-Public-Disclosure-Copy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">tax forms<\/a> reviewed by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the preceding fiscal 2022, <em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em> raked in $1.5 million from the New Venture Fund through a registered nonprofit group for its publisher in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">New York<\/a> called the Black Radical Project. <em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em>&lsquo;s publisher was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fordfoundation.org\/work\/our-grants\/awarded-grants\/grants-database\/new-venture-fund-143219\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">incubated<\/a> at the New Venture Fund as a project, allowing it to be routed a $750,000 check from the Ford Foundation, a top grantmaker aligned with Democrats, through the Arabella-managed entity, financial disclosures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fordfoundation.org\/work\/our-grants\/awarded-grants\/grants-database\/new-venture-fund-143219\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Arabella&rsquo;s ties to <em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em>, which calls itself &ldquo;a project rooted in the power of solidarity,&rdquo; illustrate how the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">top dark money network maintains allies<\/a> in the anti-Israel orbit as it attempts to distance itself from other groups. In 2023, the New Venture Fund and another Arabella-managed group announced they would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2444585\/left-wing-arabella-advisors-dark-money-groups-cut-ties-with-palestinian-terror-tied-charity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">discontinue grants<\/a> to Alliance for Global Justice, an Arizona-based group that has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2577243\/terror-tied-charity-faces-uncertain-future-as-liberal-donors-and-payment-processors-jump-ship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">long sponsored a fundraiser<\/a> for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist faction.<\/p>\n<p>Alliance for Global Justice, however, wears many hats. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, the anti-Israel group that <em>Hammer &amp; Hope <\/em>endorsed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2585296\/democratic-behemoth-actblue-boots-anti-israel-group-accused-of-terror-ties-off-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">was revealed<\/a> by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> last year to be housed under the Arizona-based group. In turn, the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel is <a href=\"https:\/\/bdsmovement.net\/pacbi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">behind<\/a> the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against the Jewish state.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em>, which did not respond to a request for comment, has aligned itself through social media amplification with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2577517\/chinese-communist-party-allied-group-behind-hamas-friendly-protests-in-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">People&rsquo;s Forum<\/a>, a Hamas-sympathetic group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3165864\/house-committee-irs-tax-exempt-status-anti-israel-groups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">helping to shape<\/a> violent anti-Israel protests that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/2833506\/left-wing-dark-money-group-to-publish-book-by-longtime-palestinian-terrorist-group-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">published a book<\/a> by a longtime Palestinian terrorist faction member. In a recent story on its website, <em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em> collaborated for a lengthy <a href=\"https:\/\/hammerandhope.org\/article\/palestine-protests-repression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">interview<\/a> piece with Palestinian Youth Movement organizer Mohammed Nabulsi &mdash; who has <a href=\"https:\/\/canarymission.org\/individual\/Mohammed_Nabulsi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">called<\/a> for &ldquo;intifada violence&rdquo; against Israel as well as urged the public to &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.warscapes.com\/opinion\/bds-10-years-anti-colonial-demands-liberal-framework\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">support<\/a>&rdquo; Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad over their &ldquo;commitment to anti-colonial struggle.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>One <em>Hammer &amp; Hope<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/hammerandhope.org\/article\/gaza-jewish-left\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">article<\/a> earlier this year bemoaned terrorist designations by the United States against Hamas and other groups as unjust efforts &ldquo;to delegitimize Palestinian resistance,&rdquo; arguing that &ldquo;Palestinian aspirations&rdquo; are unfairly characterized as &ldquo;a death wish against the Jewish people.&rdquo; Another piece, <a href=\"https:\/\/hammerandhope.org\/article\/angela-davis-palestinians-gaza\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">authored<\/a> by Marxist activist Angela Davis, focused on &ldquo;the Palestine solidarity movement&rdquo; and pitted full blame on Israel for the Middle East conflict that escalated because of Hamas&rsquo;s Oct. 7 attack.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Once again, I have to wonder how an organization that states its mission is to destroy capitalism and replace it with communism and that references the 2020 Black Lives Matter\/antifa insurrection as its lodestar can qualify for 501(c)(3) status,&rdquo; said Marc Greendorfer, a terrorism financing analyst and attorney at Zachor Legal Institute, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3189782\/treasury-sanctions-palestinian-terrorism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">investigates<\/a> anti-Israel nonprofit groups.
