It is funded by the U.S. government and provides &ldquo;news, information, and cultural programming through the internet, mobile and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media<\/a>, radio, and television.&rdquo; It originally debuted during World War II in 1942 to advance U.S. news and communications worldwide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lake, who previously was a news anchor in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/arizona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Arizona<\/a> from 1999 to 2021, left the media to pursue a political career.
