Kathy Hochul (D-NY) told CNN that she plans to submit a warrant for Mangione&rsquo;s extradition. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg&rsquo;s office said it will seek that warrant to secure his extradition.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged shooter is currently being held without bail at the State Correctional Institution at Huntingdon, according to the extradition filing obtained by Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>Mangione has denied any wrongdoing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/3255676\/unitedhealthcare-ceo-murder-suspect-luigi-mangione-suggests-evidence-planted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"suggesting\">suggesting<\/a> that evidence presented to the court may have been planted. He also is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/live\/2024\/12\/10\/nyregion\/unitedhealthcare-ceo-luigi-mangione\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">reportedly<\/a> contesting his extradition to New York.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the NYPD and released surveillance footage, Thompson was shot multiple times at 6:45 a.m. last week outside the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/new-york-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York<\/a>&nbsp;Hilton Midtown hotel, where he was headed to a UnitedHealthcare investor conference. His assassin, believed to be Mangione, quickly fled the scene and was last seen in Central Park.
