Vance<\/a> on Wednesday to never stop protecting the nation&rsquo;s youth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Cole spoke to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday, as the court heard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/supreme-court\/3244426\/transgender-care-minors-first-supreme-court-review-what-to-know\/\">oral arguments <\/a>on whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitol.tn.gov\/Bills\/113\/Bill\/SB0001.pdf\">Tennessee&rsquo;s Senate Bill 1<\/a> (SB1) barring puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries for minors, violates the Equal Protection Clause of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/14th-amendment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">14th Amendment<\/a>. As one of the most well-known voices in the detransitioner movement, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ChoooCole\/status\/1853845044676948111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Cole endorsed Trump&rsquo;s 2024 presidential run earlier this year,<\/a> and pleaded for him and his running mate not to become sidetracked in aiding her fight in protecting children from transgender ideology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3220320\/greatest-comeback-trump-white-house-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>GREATEST COMEBACK? HERE&rsquo;S HOW TRUMP STACKS UP IN WHITE HOUSE HISTORY<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Please, do not falter in the fight for protecting our children from this major identity crisis, from the abuses of these medical institutions,&rdquo; Cole told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. &ldquo;Please continue to advocate for their rights to grow up fully intact, loved as they are, and for the rights of their parents to say &lsquo;no&rsquo; to these institutions that want to compel them and to allow their children to get hurt. We cannot stop here, we must continue going until the very end of this fight when no child is being hurt like I was ever again.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Cole&rsquo;s story of transitioning from a female to a male as a teenager before detransitioning back to a woman has become a central point in the debate on the ethicality of transgender procedures and their availability to children. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2755437\/detransitioner-chloe-cole-breaks-down-before-congress-speaking-to-mother-of-transgender-child-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">She testified about her ordeal when visiting Congress last year<\/a>, and has also been cited by Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ron-desantis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Ron DeSantis<\/a> (R-FL) when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wusf.org\/politics-issues\/2023-03-08\/desantis-speech-highlights-a-ban-on-transgender-surgery-for-minors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">he promoted a ban Florida made against transgender surgeries for minors<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cole was the headline speaker at a rally held by the organization Do No Harm, to support Tennessee as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Supreme Court<\/a> heard its arguments. She stressed how no child should ever have to undergo the pain she underwent, and stated she &ldquo;didn&rsquo;t have a chance&rdquo; to choose a different path.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am grateful that the kids who come after me who are being victimized by the ACLU now are being given one!&rdquo; Cole said. &ldquo;I&rdquo;m grateful that the state of Tennessee has listened to the stories of victims like me, that they have pumped the brakes hard on this practice.
