Abbott said. &ldquo;And I think the election bore that out in terms of what voters want to see, and I think that&rsquo;s right in line with what our brand is.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong>VIDEO INTERVIEW GOES HERE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Abbott explained how the entertainment industry typically pushes out content portraying faith,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">family<\/a>, and country &ldquo;in a <\/span>very negative light,&rdquo; and Great American Family&rsquo;s goal is to serve as a light &ldquo;in that sea of darkness.&rdquo; He also contended that most people were asking for content running counter to the industry&rsquo;s typical output and that the election &ldquo;proved&rdquo; this notion to be true.<\/p>\n<p>When asked if the viewers of Great American Family had any <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">effect on the 2024 election, Abbott contended his network is made of people from both political parties, stressing that Republicans and Democratic supporters both view&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">family-friendly programming<\/a>&nbsp;&ldquo;as some<\/span>thing that&rsquo;s important.&rdquo; He added that Great American Family&rsquo;s ultimate goal is to provide entertainment that unites people and that the network does not &ldquo;delineate between red and blue.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great American Family, launched in 2021, has portrayed itself as an alternative to Christmas movie channels such as Hallmark, with this year&rsquo;s lineup being &ldquo;extremely strong.&rdquo;
