(AP Photo\/Charlie Neibergall, File)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The results were a major change from just before the election, when the 18-29 demographic&rsquo;s favorability rating was 35%-49%, making the latest results a massive swing over just one month.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In late October in this poll, young people were at 35-49 favorable towards the GOP, so this is a 29 point swing.<\/p>\n<p>Hispanics have swung a net 16 points more favorable to the GOP since the election. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Yc2GQctUxu\">pic.twitter.com\/Yc2GQctUxu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Patrick Ruffini (@PatrickRuffini) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PatrickRuffini\/status\/1861828099811291311?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 27, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/cdn-cgi\/scripts\/5c5dd728\/cloudflare-static\/email-decode.min.js\"><\/script><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Other October polls also suggested Democrats were the favorites among young voters, including a CNBC-Generation Lab poll that had Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3198434\/kamala-harris-leads-donald-trump-20-points-young-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"leading\">leading<\/a> by 20 points among the youth demographic.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, Voters swung 21 points toward Trump from 2020 to 2024, giving Democrats their worst showing among the demographic <a href=\"https:\/\/ropercenter.cornell.edu\/how-groups-voted-2000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"since 2000\">since 2000<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump consciously appealed to the youth demographic by appearing on <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">media targeting younger voters<\/a>, such as podcasts and alongside popular streamers.<\/p>\n<p>Other key Republican or Republican-adjacent figures also saw a surge in popularity in the poll. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had a 50% favorability rating, with 41% unfavorable, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had a 49% favorability rating, with 38% unfavorable.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other Republican leaders didn&rsquo;t fare so well. Sen.
