President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt did not list the names of the Cabinet nominees who were targeted and declined to provide details on who was targeted when contacted by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mzanona\/status\/1861809966719594578?s=46&amp;t=MTrDtzIBhaRIRlYG2dC8oQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Punchbowl News<\/em> reported<\/a> that former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who withdrew his nomination for attorney general last week, &ldquo;received a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">pipe bomb threat&#038;rdquo<\/a>; to his Florida home.<\/p>\n<p>A bomb-sniffing dog was reportedly brought to his home, but Gaetz was not present at the time, although a family member was.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;President Trump and the Transition are focused on doing the work of uniting our nation by ensuring a safe and prosperous future,&rdquo; Leavitt added. &ldquo;With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3220757\/what-happens-donald-trump-president-elect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>WHAT HAPPENS NOW THAT TRUMP IS PRESIDENT-ELECT<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trump himself survived two assassination attempts in the final months of the 2024 election.
