Representative\u200c Pete Stauber from Minnesota has \u2062requested that the Small Business Administration&#8217;s inspector general investigate\u200b the matter. This \u200cfinancing was intended to help maintain employment during the pandemic, but \u200ddespite receiving these funds, the company was found to\u2063 be critically \u2062understaffed, leading to the abuse of about 4,000 beagles bred\u200b for animal testing.
