Amazon Over Treatment of Vendors\">raised prices<\/a> in the UK, Germany and elsewhere in northern Europe earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/oil-protesters-attempt-disrupt-british-open-thwarted-american-player-gas-powered-devices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British<\/a> government officials have learned all the wrong lessons from &ldquo;Dunkelflaute.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>For instance, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/chris-stark-to-lead-mission-control-to-deliver-clean-power-by-2030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chris Stark<\/a>, appointed in July to head the government&rsquo;s new clean energy-focused Mission Control, doubled down on renewables.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Even small amounts of low-carbon flex can displace a lot of gas. We&rsquo;ll also need to support the build of a lot of new renewable generation &ndash; of all types, but especially offshore wind,&rdquo; Stark said on Nov. 5.<\/p>\n<p>Historians who immerse themselves in centuries-old correspondence eventually make an interesting discovery.<\/p>\n<p>In short, our ancestors often wrote wonderful letters while sitting in a port town and waiting for favorable winds.
