There were 4.4 million alone in the coveted 25-54 demographic.<\/p>\n<p>However, Comcast is likely considering the spinoff due to the overall decline in cable subscriptions. A projected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3235901\/comcast-moving-forward-spinoff-msnbc-other-cable-channels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"70 million households\">70 million households<\/a> will keep their cable by the end of this year, while in 2010, shortly before Comcast bought NBCUniversal and its networks, 105 million households had cable.
