Specifically, Ukrainian forces are now allowed to use U.S.-provided long-range missiles to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-divided-by-bidens-decision-to-approve-long-range-ukrainian-strikes-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Republicans divided by Biden\u2019s decision to approve long-range Ukrainian strikes - Washington Examiner\">hit military targets deeper<\/a> within Russian territory. The U.S. also provided Ukraine with anti-personnel landmines, which they hadn&rsquo;t given them previously.<\/p>\n<p>President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> has said he will bring both sides to the negotiating table, seeking an end to the conflict. With his inauguration only weeks away, both sides are trying to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">make strategic gains quickly<\/a> to improve their bargaining positions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and Russian leader <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/vladimir-putin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Vladimir Putin<\/a> have strengthened their relationship over the course of the war.
