They criticized the Illinois\u2063 Supreme Court&#8217;s recent decision to overturn Smollett&#8217;s \u2063conviction, calling it a &#8220;real injustice.&#8221; Abimbola &#8220;Bola&#8221; Osundairo stated they were surprised not by the court&#8217;s ruling, but by Smollett&#8217;s continued denial of \u2063wrongdoing.\u2063 His brother, Olabinjo &#8220;Ola&#8221; Osundairo, highlighted the issue of a \u2063favorable deal that Smollett received early in his case from Cook County State\u2019s Attorney Kim Foxx, describing it as unjust. However, Jussie should have admitted guilt.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The &ldquo;real injustice&rdquo; regarding the Smollett case is the &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/key-points-from-day-3-of-the-rnc-republican-national-convention-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Key points from Day 3 of the RNC: Republican National Convention - Washington Examiner\">sweetheart deal&#038;rdquo<\/a>; Cook County State&rsquo;s Attorney General Kim Foxx gave the Empire actor at the beginning of the case against him, according to Olabinjo &ldquo;Ola&rdquo; Osundairo.<\/p>\n<p>Foxx lauded the decision to overturn Smollett&rsquo;s conviction.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What&rsquo;s important to note is (Special Prosector) Dan Webb knew all along that this was not a legitimate prosecution,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;So, I&rsquo;m grateful that the court has finally put this to rest.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3220431\/how-elon-musk-helped-trump-back-to-white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>HOW ELON MUSK HELPED WILL TRUMP BACK TO THE WHITE HOUSE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>  Smollett received the treatment he got from Foxx because he has influence and power, according to Abimbola. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It shows that there are two different citizens in America,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;One with power and one without, and that&rsquo;s why he got that sweetheart deal.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Osundairo brothers have admitted to staging the incident, for which Smollett was convicted on five counts of felony disorderly conduct and acquitted on a sixth for filing a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">false police report<\/a>, and they said no one believes that Smollett is telling the truth with his account of events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Not a single soul,&rdquo; Olabinjo said. &ldquo;I do see people online that still has his back, but no.
