They called on leadership to take two key actions: provide severance pay\u200c to all laid-off employees, and communicate transparently about the\u200c layoffs and any future cuts. Tim Walz&rsquo;s (D-MN) presidential campaign were provided with three weeks of severance. The DNC union letter said that to its employees, unlike Harris-Walz staffers, DNC senior leadership chose to &ldquo;leave loyal staff scrambling to cover rent, medical expenses, and childcare costs.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The union said that in order to begin regaining the trust of voters, the DNC &ldquo;must start by living our party&rsquo;s values.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The DNC staff is proud of the values that our party stands for,&rdquo; The statement read. &ldquo;We want to make it clear, however, that the principles we champion on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lies-ums-and-ill-circle-back-what-we-can-expect-from-jen-psaki\/\" title=\"Lies, Ums, And \u2018I\u2019ll Circle Back\u2019: What We Can Expect From Jen Psaki\">national stage<\/a> have been disregarded in our own workplace.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>DNC Chair Jamie Harrison has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3220905\/dnc-chief-jaime-harrison-retreats-renomination-democratic-losses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">announced<\/a> he will not seek reelection next year after Democrats lost the presidential election. Top Democrats are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3225021\/democrats-discuss-party-chair-candidates-for-second-trump-era\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">scheduled<\/a> to meet in mid-December to discuss who will replace the leader, including Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, former Georgia lawmaker Stacey Abrams, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, former Texas Rep.
