In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Clinton emphasized the importance of engaging more effectively with this demographic without compromising the party&#8217;s core principles. He noted that elections are often decided by narrow margins, highlighting that 56% of non-college-educated voters favored Republican candidate Donald Trump, \u2063while Democratic nominee Kamala Harris\u200b attracted\u2063 55% of college-educated votes. Meanwhile, 56% of voters without degrees went for Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton pointed out that since he was last in office in 2001, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Democrats<\/a> have only lost the popular vote twice: in 2024 and in 2004. According to the former president, this was proof that his party was once on the right track. The last strong Latino turnout for a Republican candidate was when former President George&nbsp;Bush&nbsp;swept 44% of the Latino vote in&nbsp;2004. At the time, they only made up&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2011\/11\/8.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">8% of eligible voters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This cycle, Trump broke that record with 45% of the Latino vote.
