This modification follows last week&#8217;s elections, which prompted some Democrats to\u2062 analyze whether their stances on social issues may have\u2062 negatively impacted their performance. Although Ocasio-Cortez&#8217;s pronouns \u2063are no \u200blonger visible in her X bio, they remain listed in a different format on her Instagram \u2064profile. Rep.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/seth-moulton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seth Moulton<\/a>&lsquo;s (D-MA) comments on Democrats potentially reevaluating its stance on transgender athletes in women&rsquo;s sports have caused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3225668\/massachusetts-democrat-receives-swift-backlash-from-party-transgender-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"backlash\">backlash<\/a> from others in the party.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I have two little girls. I don&rsquo;t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I&rsquo;m supposed to be afraid to say that,&rdquo; Moulton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/11\/07\/us\/politics\/democrats-kamala-harris.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"told\">told<\/a> the <em>New York Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ocasio-Cortez, a firebrand progressive, has also attempted to understand why Democrats have lost ground after shocking margins in some deep-blue states in the presidential race.
