broadly &mdash; the state of health in this country.<\/p>\n<p>But is Kennedy a radical choice that a wiser, more astute politician wouldn&rsquo;t dare approach?<\/p>\n<p>A 2008 article from far-left leaning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2008\/11\/obama-considers-stars-for-cabinet-015320\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Politico<\/a> indicated otherwise, as it reported that then President-elect Barack Obama was considering Kennedy to lead the Environmental Protection Agency.<\/p>\n<p>Politico went so far as to mention that Kennedy for the EPA would &ldquo;please&rdquo; an environmental group &mdash; to stop pollution in New York while also taking on Congress over &ldquo;anti-environmental&rdquo; legislation in the mid-1990s. <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/archive\/6736055\/fresh-water-let-rivers-run-deep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Time<\/a> magazine even named him one of its &ldquo;Heroes for the Planet&rdquo; for his work with Riverkeeper.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy later joined the health advocacy group <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/about-us\/our-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Children&rsquo;s Health Defense<\/a> and has served as chairman and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-different-kind-of-gun-grabbing\/\" title=\"A Different Kind of Gun-Grabbing\">chief legal counsel<\/a> for that organization while writing several books, including &ldquo;The Real Anthony Fauci: Big Pharma&rsquo;s Global War on Democracy, Humanity, and Public Health,&rdquo; published in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>While the Kennedy name is a household one in politics, it seems RFK Jr. himself is not a blindingly stupid choice, as members of the left try to denigrate him along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-senator-infuriated-pete-hegseths-take-women-combat-roles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">every other Trump nomination<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Left-wing media outlets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/11\/14\/politics\/robert-f-kennedy-donald-trump-hhs\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">like CNN<\/a> are quick to throw Kennedy into a group of &ldquo;anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists,&rdquo; while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/morning-joe\/watch\/rfk-jr-at-hhs-would-undermine-the-future-health-of-several-generations-doctor-warns-224554565657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MSNBC&rsquo;s &ldquo;Morning Joe&rdquo;<\/a> opted to bring on Stanford Professor Dr. Kavita Patel on Friday to sound the alarm.<\/p>\n<p>Patel told &ldquo;Morning Joe&rdquo;
