We also know that he often says things in part to tweak his unhinged antagonists.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, those same antagonists, who have spent nine years hyperventilating about Trump as &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/holocaust-survivor-slams-harris-last-ditch-ploy-know-hitler-kamala-will-ever-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hitler<\/a>&rdquo; and his supporters as &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-just-de-facto-admitted-trump-nazi-fascist-rhetoric-lie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nazis<\/a>&rdquo; &mdash; all while defending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-swarms-small-town-swat-team-armored-vehicles-search-jan-6-suspect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">actual authoritarianism<\/a> &mdash; will almost certainly lose their minds over this, too.<\/p>\n<p>But to the majority of Americans who do not suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, the president-elect&rsquo;s words had special meaning.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, nothing could better capture our present mood than the phrase &ldquo;beautiful light shining over our country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the stock market has reacted favorably to Trump&rsquo;s victory. And yes, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/breaking-musk-ramaswamy-officially-join-trump-administration-their-job-is-to-destroy-bureaucracy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appointments<\/a> of X owner Elon Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to lead a new &ldquo;Department of Government Efficiency&rdquo; tasked with identifying government waste and fraud will almost certainly unleash Americans&rsquo; creative and entrepreneurial energies to an unprecedented degree.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, however, Trump&rsquo;s victory signals the end of the establishment&rsquo;s grip on our constitutional republic.
