Hovde\u2063 emphasized discrepancies in the\u2063 election results, particularly regarding \u2064the influence of\u2062 third-party candidate Thomas Leager, who garnered a significant number of \u2063votes. Once the full canvas is complete and the results are sent to the Wisconsin Election Commission, Hovde will have three days to ask for a recount.<\/p>\n<p>If the race is within 1%, Hovde would automatically qualify and would not have to pay for a recount.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EricHovde\/status\/1856444700707958981\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hovde&rsquo;s statement<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;pointed to issues he had with the election results, including third-party candidate Thomas Leager, who received 28,717 votes in the race. Leager was found to have been&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/political-donors-democrats-republicans-wisconsin-senate-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>funded by Democratic firms and donors<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;despite saying that he was recruited to run by the Patriots Run Project.<\/p>\n<p>Hovde said that he was receiving calls of congratulations early last Wednesday morning before <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">absentee voting results<\/a> came in from 108,325 absentee voters, both in-person and mail-in votes.
