Vance to rally Republican donors from the tech sphere.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Jr. announced his joining the venture capital firm with Rockbridge leader Chris Buskirk during a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">fireside chat titled &#038;ldquo<\/a>;Inaugurating the Next American Golden Age.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>1789 is led by Omeed Malik with other investors including Buskirk and Rebekah Mercer, a major Republican donor. The firm manages investments for Tucker Carlson&rsquo;s media company.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Jr., 46, played a key role in his father&rsquo;s&nbsp;presidential campaign, influencing his father&rsquo;s choice of Vance as his running mate and getting him involved in cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>He&rsquo;s also been vocal about his opposition to continuing to fund Ukraine in its war against Russia.
