However, one of her former aides still sees a way in which Harris can still become the 47th president of the country. He could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, making Kamala Harris the United States president. He would absolve her from having to oversee the January 6 transition of her own defeat.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And, it would make sure, it would dominate the news, at a point where Democrats have to learn, drama and transparency and doing things that the public want to see,&rdquo; Simmons said. &ldquo;This is the moment for us to change the entire perspective of how Democrats operate.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This has now jumped from an internet meme to a Sunday morning show,&rdquo; <em>State of the Union <\/em>host Dana Bash said in response.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bash also asked about the Supreme Court, referencing a conspiracy-type scenario that has made its rounds on social media in which older, liberal Supreme Court justices resign and Biden appoints their replacements with a younger justice who could remain as a Supreme Court Justice for a much longer due to their youth. However, Simmons didn&rsquo;t address that topic. Instead, he returned to his proposed idea, suggesting that scheming for Harris to be the 47th president was something in Biden&rsquo;s control.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is in Joe Biden&rsquo;s control,&rdquo; Simmons said. &ldquo;If he did it, again, it would fulfill his last promise. It would give Kamala Harris the chance to be the 47th president of the United States of America. It would disrupt all of Donald Trump&rsquo;s paraphernalia.
