Even 2016 didn&rsquo;t dissuade them from this notion &mdash; many considered that election an outlier bump in the road.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/powerful-hymn-breaks-trump-victory-party-moved-tears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump&rsquo;s 2024 victory<\/a> shattered that coalition, not because of the victory itself but because of <em>how<\/em> it was achieved.<\/p>\n<p>Trump didn&rsquo;t just bring out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/subpoenas-await-if-white-house-keeps-hiding-bidenbucks-plans\/\" title=\"Subpoenas Await If White House Keeps Hiding &#039;Bidenbucks&#039; Plans\">white voters &#038;mdash<\/a>; he won over unprecedented numbers of minorities as well.<\/p>\n<p>This included, perhaps most notably, Hispanics.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Nowhere was this better exemplified than in Starr County, Texas, the most Hispanic county in America.<\/p>\n<p>No Republican has won the county, the population of which is 97 percent Hispanic, in over a century, since 1892 to be precise.<\/p>\n<p>But that all changed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Trump won 57.7 percent of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/just-in-floyd-county-georgia-terminates-election-director-after-statewide-audit-discovers-uncounted-votes\/\" title=\"JUST IN: Floyd County, Georgia Terminates Election Director After Statewide Audit Discovers Uncounted Votes\">county&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s vote compared to Vice President Kamala Harris&rsquo; 41.8 percent, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/starr-county-texas-most-hispanic-county-donald-trump-1981230\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a big shift from even the past two elections.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, President Joe Biden won Starr County by grabbing 52 percent of the vote. The 2016 Democratic victory (of the county, that is) was even more decisive with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joe-rogan-knew-trump-comedic-instincts-5-unexpected-words-hillary-clinton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hillary Clinton<\/a> garnering a whopping 79 percent.<\/p>\n<p>But this year, it shifted over to Trump&rsquo;s column as did many once-blue counties across the United States.<\/p>\n<p>This shift in Hispanic support wasn&rsquo;t isolated to one red-state county. From <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2020-elections\/exit-polls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2020<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2024-elections\/exit-polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2024<\/a>, Hispanic support for Trump jumped from 32 percent to 46 percent.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s a 14-point swing!<\/p>\n<p>Trump also won 39 percent of the Asian vote, 13 percent of the black vote (including 21 percent of black men) and a solid majority &mdash; 65 percent &mdash; of the American Indian vote.<\/p>\n<p>People of all backgrounds, colors and creeds came out to vote for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/priceless-trump-resignation-letter-mcdonalds-now-everyone-see\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald&nbsp;Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Even women didn&rsquo;t break Democrats&rsquo; way in as great of numbers as Democrats expected.
