Others are also under consideration for the role.<\/p>\n<p>Warrington is a partner at Dhillon Law Group. He represented Trump during the House Jan. 6 select committee&rsquo;s investigation alongside former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former White House personnel adviser Johnny McEntee, and &ldquo;Stop the Steal&rdquo; organizers Amy and Kylie Kremer. He also represented Trump in civil lawsuits stemming from the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol brought by members of Congress and police officers.<\/p>\n<p>Before entering Trump&rsquo;s orbit during the 2016 Republican National Convention, Warrington was the general counsel for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rnla.org\/david_warrington\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Ron Paul&rsquo;s 2012 campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Woodward, alongside his law partner Stan Brand, has spent the last few years representing Trump aide Dan Scavino before the Jan. 6 select committee as well as special counsel Jack Smith&rsquo;s investigation into Trump and his allies&rsquo; effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.<\/p>\n<p>He has also represented other Trump allies in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/immigrant-business-owner-who-fled-communism-jailed-for-staying-open-supporters-back-her-with-gofundme\/\" title=\"Immigrant Business Owner Who Fled Communism Jailed For Staying Open, Supporters Back Her With GoFundMe\">legal trouble<\/a>, including former adviser Kash Patel, former White House trade adviser Peter Navarro, and Trump&rsquo;s body man Walt Nauta, who was charged alongside Trump in the classified documents case in Florida.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/magazine\/2024\/09\/20\/mike-davis-trump-potential-attorney-general-profile-00179358\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Mike Davis<\/a> was the chief counsel for nominations to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) during the Trump administration. He is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/magazine\/2024\/09\/20\/mike-davis-trump-potential-attorney-general-profile-00179358\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Republican operative\">Republican operative<\/a> whose Article 3 Project backs conservative judges.
