If he decides to move forward with sentencing, Trump&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/9-key-points-from-trump-campaign-press-conference-on-challenges-to-election-results\/\" title=\"9 Key Points from Trump Campaign Press Conference on Challenges to Election Results\">legal team<\/a> is likely to ask for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obama-appointed-judge-delays-sentencing-for-kevin-clinesmith-until-after-inauguration-day\/\" title=\"Obama-Appointed Judge Delays Sentencing For Kevin Clinesmith Until After Inauguration Day\">delayed sentencing<\/a> so it can appeal the conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Trump also faces other criminal charges, including two cases in Washington, D.C., and Georgia related to his actions during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
