His credentials were that these keys had been overwhelmingly correct for 40 years.<\/p>\n<p>Those keys include: party mandate, contest, incumbency, third party, short-term economy, long-term economy, policy change, social unrest, scandal, foreign\/military failure, foreign\/military success, incumbent charisma, and challenger charisma.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, he was the guy who thought that the &ldquo;keys&rdquo; were so key to the presidential race that he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/historian-predicted-9-last-10-presidential-elections-gives-grave-warning-biden-huge-mistake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beseeched the Democrats<\/a> to leave President Joe Biden in the race after the June debate, despite the fact he was obviously mentally infirm. And he was on a livestream during it.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;During an online stream on Tuesday night, Lichtman and his son, Sam Lichtman, provided live updates as early counts showed gains for Donald Trump, admitting several times that initial numbers for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-defector-emails-pipeline-to-obama-admin-seen-as-currency\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Defector Emails: &#039;Pipeline&#039; to Obama Admin Seen as &#039;Currency&#039;\">vice president<\/a> were not ideal,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/election-predictions-early-vote-harris-fears-b2642165.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.K. Independent<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;However, as more results came in Lichtman admitted that the data was &lsquo;very scary&rsquo; later admitting &lsquo;it doesn&rsquo;t look good&rsquo; as they examined the race for North Carolina.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Then came data that showed Trump winning 51 percent of the Hispanic vote in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What? You&rsquo;ve been more hopeful than me,&rdquo; Lichtman responded.<\/p>\n<p>Oh &mdash; so this was more about hoping a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/historian-predicted-presidential-winners-4-decades-stunning-prediction-trump-vs-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">very subjective model was right<\/a>? Wow! Who could have ever thought?<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The democracy&rsquo;s gone,&rdquo; Lichtman said as the livestream closed.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, democracy is gone all because the over 130 million people whose ballots have been counted thus far as of Wednesday morning ignored the 13 keys and made their own decision.<\/p>\n<p>Let&rsquo;s hope this is the last election cycle in which this pseudoscientific academic charlatan is allowed to grace our TV screens as if he were a simpler alternative to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/polling-guru-nate-silver-says-trump-10-point-advantage-pollsters-cheating-like-crazy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nate Silver<\/a>.
