Though unpopular among progressive Democrats, it is <a href=\"https:\/\/californiaglobe.com\/fr\/overwhelming-support-for-prop-36-final-poll-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"overwhelmingly popular\">overwhelmingly popular<\/a> among Californians.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Republicans have focused heavily on crime during the 2024 campaign, portraying Harris and the Democrats as too soft on crime.
