A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>RealClearPolitics<\/em>&nbsp;<\/a>poll average from Sunday morning showed Trump has a slight 0.2 lead.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/live-blog\/2024-election-campaign-live-updates-harris-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2024 ELECTIONS LIVE UPDATES: LATEST NEWS ON THE TRUMP-HARRIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Meet the Press<\/em> host Kristen Welker asked Burgum whether Trump had a &ldquo;problem&rdquo; with female voters after citing one poll.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think Trump&rsquo;s closing messages go&nbsp;beyond gender.&nbsp;They go beyond identity.&nbsp;They go beyond race, and they go&nbsp;beyond all these things because&nbsp;what he talks about every day is&nbsp;the things that affect all&nbsp;Americans, whether you&rsquo;re a&nbsp;Democrat, an Independent, or a Republican,&rdquo; Burgum said.&nbsp;&ldquo;So, I think the issues he&rsquo;s talking&nbsp;about are resonating with&nbsp;voters, and I think when you see in the&nbsp;polls that we have a race that&rsquo;s&nbsp;very close, but President Trump&nbsp;is outperforming in all these&nbsp;polls where he was in &rsquo;16 and&nbsp;&rsquo;20.&nbsp;So I&rsquo;m very confident that the&nbsp;message that he&rsquo;s delivering&nbsp;that lifts up everyone is going to be&nbsp;the winning message on Tuesday.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 100%; max-width: 640px; max-height: 360px; min-width: 320px; min-height: 180px; overflow: hidden;\">\n<div style=\"position: relative; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/share.grabien.com\/share.php?id=2677370&amp;userid=11311&amp;loginid=10455&amp;playercolor=%23000000&amp;playersize=auto&amp;code=01276a3edb94d22c0964349bfa63238c\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0px;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Burgum was once Trump&rsquo;s opponent in the 2024 Republican primary, he is now stumping for the party&rsquo;s nominee across the country. Trump earned the endorsement of nearly every one of his Republican opponents, except former Gov. Asa Hutchinson, former Gov. Chris Christie, and former Vice President Mike Pence, who all opted out of endorsing either Trump or Harris.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We know that polls&nbsp;vary a lot based on who you&rsquo;re&nbsp;sampling.
