The fate of the individual shot was not known.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the video, an individual in yellow is shown fleeing from the scene until a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/liberals-play-guns-democrat-involved-shooting-accident-bullet-fragment-hits-reporter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">police officer<\/a> brings him to the ground.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I saw him shoot. I saw him shoot,&rdquo; an officer can be heard saying.<\/p>\n<p>Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith praised the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-man-charged-shooting-police-officer-ella-french-admits-pulled-handgun-traffic-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">response<\/a> of his officers, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/01\/us-news\/orlando-mass-shooting-leaves-2-dead-6-wounded-during-halloween-celebration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They&rsquo;re always trained, and they&rsquo;re always ready to act,&rdquo; Smith said. &ldquo;As soon as they heard the shots fired, none of the officers went the other way.
