According to data\u200d from Project 538, Trump has led all twelve of the latest polls conducted in the\u200c state, with margins ranging from 3% to 5% in some cases. Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala\u2064 Harris,\u2062 expected to\u2063 be the Democratic candidate following President Joe Biden&#8217;s withdrawal from the race, has not led any Georgia polls since mid-October, having\u200b only led twice in the last twenty polls, with Trump\u200d leading seventeen and one being tied. <\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s\u200c performance in\u2063 Georgia is notable given his loss in the 2020 election; the state\u200c flipped blue for the first time since 1980. However, despite Biden initially having a lead in polls before the last election,\u200c Trump narrowly lost by\u2064 just 11,000 votes. While many were well within the statistical margin of error, he led some by as much as 3% to 5%.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Kamala Harris, ascending to be the Democrats&rsquo; candidate when President Joe Biden quit 107 days prior to Election Day, has not led a poll in the state since mid-October. Of the last 20 polls, Harris led only two, Trump led 17, and they were tied in one.<\/p>\n<p>Trump lost Georgia in 2020, only the second time since 1980 the Republican nominee didn&rsquo;t carry the state.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Biden began leading Trump on Oct. 1. By Election Day, he was 1.2% ahead of Trump. Yet, Trump still outperformed the polls, losing by only 11,000 votes or 0.2%.<\/p>\n<p>Both candidates have made appearances in the state in the last few weeks, highlighting the significance and quest for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/stacey-abrams-voting-rights-pac-helped-group-that-pushed-voter-fraud-conspiracy-theories\/\" title=\"Stacey Abrams\u2019 Voting Rights PAC Helped Group That Pushed Voter Fraud Conspiracy Theories\">16 electoral college votes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Though Trump&rsquo;s polling lead has remained steady,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.270towin.com\/states\/Georgia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>270toWin still lists<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;the state as a &ldquo;toss-up.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/polls\/president-general\/2024\/georgia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>According to Project 538<\/strong><\/a>, Trump&rsquo;s leading by an average of 1.9%.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/north-carolina\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RealClear Polling<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;also has Trump leading in the polling average in Georgia, though only by 1.4%.<\/p>\n<p>Those percentages do not include a margin of error because they are an aggregate.
