(AP Photo\/Jacquelyn Martin)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&ldquo;We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end,&rdquo; Harris said in the prime-time special that aired in full on Oct. 7.<\/p>\n<p>But in a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">teaser clip aired ahead<\/a> of the interview&rsquo;s full release, Harris offered what the Trump campaign has described as a &ldquo;word salad&rdquo; response.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region,&rdquo; the vice president said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Her REAL ANSWER WAS CRAZY, OR DUMB, so they actually REPLACED it with another answer in order to save her or, at least, make her look better,&rdquo; Trump said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113282874299753124\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">post<\/a> to Truth Social. &ldquo;A FAKE NEWS SCAM, which is totally illegal,&rdquo; he continued.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe src=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/113282874299753124\/embed\" class=\"truthsocial-embed truthsocial-video\" style=\"max-width: 100%; border: 0\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><script src=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/embed.js\" async=\"async\"><\/script>    <\/p>\n<p>As the network refuses to heed Trump&rsquo;s calls for it to release the full and unedited transcript of the original interview, the former president has called for the network&rsquo;s broadcasting licenses to be revoked.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He has argued that the network&rsquo;s edits amounted to election interference. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve seen where answers are sort of juggled around. That&rsquo;s not good either, but a little tiny. But to take the whole thing out and to take another answer from a totally different question and a totally different part and move it in, and they got caught. And they don&rsquo;t want to show us any papers because they might have done it with many other answers,&rdquo; Trump said during his Nevada rally.<\/p>\n<p>The Harris campaign has distanced itself from CBS&rsquo;s edits,&nbsp;telling <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/tv\/news\/kamala-harris-responds-60-minutes-edit-controversy-cbs-1236173842\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a>, &ldquo;We do not control CBS&rsquo;s production decisions.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CBS has come under fire under multiple fronts in recent days.
