The move comes as polling trends in former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s direction and Republicans overtake Democrats in early voting.<\/p>\n<p>According to AdImpact, an advertisement tracking firm, Harris pulled at least $2 million of her initial $2.7 million buy from North Carolina media markets. The only media market where the Harris campaign has kept its ads is Raleigh, which, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolinajournal.com\/harris-campaign-cuts-ad-buys-in-north-carolina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to<\/a> the Carolina Journal, is the only one in which she is leading former President Donald Trump in the polls.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-070f3468ab304f7fcea0d1091fdd37c4 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-070f3468ab304f7fcea0d1091fdd37c4\"><\/div>\n<p>Trump campaign Senior Advisor Chris LaCivita <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LaCivitaC\/status\/1851265226194194718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> on social media he believes the Harris campaign could be reallocating the money to Virginia (a blue state in presidential elections since 2008). Another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolinajournal.com\/polls\/october-2024-trump-and-harris-in-dead-heat-in-north-carolina-battleground\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">poll<\/a> showed Trump with a slight lead, 47.2% to 46.6%. Compared to this time in 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/andyinrok\/status\/1851247651313877208\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democrat turnout is down<\/a> by about 341,000 voters, while Republicans are up by about 9,000.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump campaign is also facing somewhat of an uphill battle in North Carolina, as a key region of Republican voters, western North Carolina, was ravaged by Hurricane Helene.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-09ab321f04a4d90fde553bc3659dd172 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-09ab321f04a4d90fde553bc3659dd172\"><\/div>\n<p>That area, which brought a net 247,217 votes for Trump in 2020, has seen a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/05\/are-dems-slow-walking-hurricane-relief-to-suppress-an-election-deciding-number-of-gop-voters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-in-ncs-helene-disaster-area-block-early-voting-locations\/\" title=\"Dems In NC&#039;s Helene Disaster Area Block Early Voting Locations\">slow-rolled relief effort<\/a><\/a> from Democrats in charge of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and state officials, leaving many to question whether voter suppression is going on in the area. Trump only won the state by about 75,000 votes in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As The Federalist <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/25\/democrats-in-north-carolinas-helene-disaster-area-block-emergency-early-voting-locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, Democrats in charge of some county elections boards have rejected plans to make emergency voting locations in response to the disaster, requiring the state legislature to compel them to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&rsquo;s polling margins are not as close as North Carolina, but a recent Rasmussen Reports poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/partner_surveys\/election_2024_harris_48_trump_46_in_virginia_cruz_4_in_texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">showed<\/a> Trump only trailing Harris by two points.
