After the first nine days of early voting, Republicans hold a lead of 5.3 percentage points as the country races toward Nov. 5, per an analysis by the <a href=\"https:\/\/thenevadaindependent.com\/article\/the-early-voting-blog-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Nevada Independent<\/em><\/a>. The news could spell a boost for former President Donald Trump and Republican candidates down the Nevada ballot, including Senate hopeful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3175903\/republican-spending-crunch-reshuffles-money-sam-brown-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Sam Brown<\/a>, who is running to unseat Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3145190\/how-to-vote-dates-deadlines-know-about-before-election-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>VOTER REGISTRATION AND EARLY VOTING: KEY DATES AND DEADLINES IN THE 2024 ELECTION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I know people want to keep comparing this year to 2020 or 2022, but at the risk of repeating myself: This is a unicorn year. Yet Republicans held an early voting turnout edge of between 8 to 9 percentage points Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>With polls showing Trump is outperforming some Republican candidates in the Silver State, including Brown, the news about early voting returns could signal a boost for GOP candidates down the ballot because Nevada is one of only two swing states to allow straight-ticket voting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/live-blog\/2024-election-campaign-live-updates-harris-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>2024 ELECTIONS LIVE UPDATES: LATEST NEWS ON THE TRUMP-HARRIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A key aspect of this election cycle will be straight-ticket voting,&rdquo; Republican strategist Jimmy Keady recently told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/early-voting-data-may-sign-improved-gop-ground-game-pivotal-swing-state-expert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Fox News Digital<\/a>.
