The race is a virtual tie, with Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ahead<\/a> by just 0.1 percentage points in a <em>Real Clear Politics<\/em> polling average.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg, 82, has publicly given the second most to Democrats this election cycle among individual donors, behind only George Soros, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/magazine\/3083353\/the-kingmaker-of-chaos-george-soross-failed-experiments-threaten-his-kingdom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the 94-year-old philanthropist<\/a>. Still, Bloomberg&rsquo;s giving is far less than his $95 million transfers in 2018 to assist Democrats in retaking a congressional majority.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Bloomberg did not return a request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>Future Forward, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3203722\/kamala-harris-dark-money-support-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the nonprofit group that Bloomberg helped back<\/a>, has shuffled over $130 million to its super PAC arm since 2018.
