Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, encountered when visiting an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pence-national-review-heres-why-dems-for-the-people-act-is-dangerous\/\" title=\"Pence, National Review: Here\u2019s Why Dems\u2019 \u2018For The People Act\u2019 Is Dangerous\">early voting location<\/a> in Miami-Dade on Sunday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DebbieforFL\">@debbieforFL<\/a> showed up at an early voting location and found out why Miami-Dade is RED,&rdquo; the Florida senator wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The county, which has been a critical blue stronghold for Democrats, has begun to turn pink in recent years. According to the county&rsquo;s election supervisor, Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamidade.gov\/elections\/library\/reports\/voter-registration-statistics-cumulative.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">hold a narrow lead<\/a> of only 45,399 registered voters over Republicans. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) both not only won re-election <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2873893\/desantis-democrats-why-blue-voters-are-switching-to-red-in-florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">but flipped<\/a> Miami-Dade County. DeSantis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2872988\/the-desantis-coalition-florida-stands-alone-for-incredible-republican-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">w<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2872988\/the-desantis-coalition-florida-stands-alone-for-incredible-republican-results\/\">on<\/a> the county by 12 percentage points and Rubio won by nine percent, a major margin for any Republican.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the state has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/politics-government\/article290957249.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">shifted<\/a> toward Republicans, with the GOP holding the governor&rsquo;s mansion, the state legislature, and most of their congressional delegation. In 2020, President Joe Biden won Miami-Dade by 7.3% in 2020 against former President Donald Trump, but Trump won the state overall by 51.2%. In comparison, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won Miami-Dade by 29.6% against Trump, but Trump won the state overall by 49.1%.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-sets-more-voter-turnout-records-destroying-lefts-voter-suppression-narrative\/\" title=\"Georgia Sets More Voter Turnout Records, Destroying Left\u2019s \u201cVoter Suppression\u201d Narrative\">early vote numbers<\/a> are looking strong for Republicans in Florida and across the country, Republican consultants and operatives are warning about reading too much into them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Look, the early vote numbers are encouraging, but you just don&rsquo;t one-hundred percent know. Are those voters that wouldn&rsquo;t have come out on election day or are just voting earlier this time because it&rsquo;s easier these days?
